How do I know which level is right for me?
NOA Pathway has a range of qualifications available, with different entry points to accommodate the full range of backgrounds, experience and ability. If you are not sure which level of study is right for you, please speak to our Programmes Director who will advise you further. The guidance below may help:
NOA Gateway
For those who are new to outsourcing or have basic experience and want to develop their appreciation of the full outsourcing life cycle. This standalone module is ideal for those new to the profession, as it will provide an understanding for the principles of outsourcing. Both UK-based and international professionals can complete this course and can also gain 20 credits to put towards further study. There are two different versions of the NOA Gateway – Foundation and Experienced Practitioners; so you can choose the level that’s right for you.
NOAC – NOA Professional Certificate
The NOAC is an undergraduate level programme that will provide a sound foundation for the outsourcing professional. This is ideal for those who want to validate their professional competence by achieving an accredited professional qualification and who want to develop their outsourcing knowledge and skills. This programme is for those new to outsourcing or who have/are working at one particular stage of the outsourcing Lifecycle (e.g. Managing Service) and want to develop their appreciation of the full outsourcing Lifecycle. This is for those who have been working within the outsourcing field for sometime who would value a formal qualification.
NOAAPC – NOA Advanced Professional Certificate
This programme is for those professionals who have successfully completed the NOAC and now want to develop their careers to the next level. The learning focus is on in depth reflection and developing beyond the student’s own learning, to take in the behaviour and learning of others. This is an important development in professional competence and will position people into a leadership role.
NOAD - NOA Diploma in Strategic Global Outsourcing
The Diploma differs significantly from the NOAC and NOAAPC certificates, as it is a masters (M) level programme. Participants are not provided with taught input but are required to research for themselves particular areas within the outsourcing domain. Participants will need to demonstrate that they are able to undertake in-depth research, to reflect critically on their experiences, their behaviours and the behaviours of others and to develop insightful analysis. It is expected that participants who undertake the Diploma programme have at least five years experience within the outsourcing sector and are currently working in an outsourcing role. NOA Pathway has a range of qualifications available, with different entry points to accommodate the full range of backgrounds, experience and ability.
